Accommodations
(Almost) All accommodations have been personally selected by us and are regularly checked for service, quality and hygiene. Afrikaya Tours strives to make your holiday as cheap as possible to offer, without affecting the quality of the trip.
We select good and mostly small-scale three - and four star lodges and guesthouses , with comfortable rooms with private bathroom, where the drink at the bar still affordable. In remote areas you will not find luxury hotels and you stay mostly in a good guesthouse or simple lodge . Sometimes we just for a (simple) hotel because of its unique location and the atmospheric environment or for a more expensive option, as it really is worth it.

making it especially on Fridays, when people get paid very busy at banks. You can sometimes more than one hour waiting in line.It is very common to find services and service a tip is given. In the Netherlands the service charge is often included, but in southern Africa, people are often totally dependent on tips and gratuities. It is always a small amount and our advice is: be generous.
