The South & West Cape
Suburbs of Cape Town have with its fine houses in old Dutch and British Victorian style. Create a walk through the city centre, to the Castle of good hope, Green market Square and visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. A trip to the table mountain, Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned in (SAT), Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, great Constantia, Cape of good hope and Boulder's Beach, with its African penguins a must, of course, not in your travel planning.
Hermanus is known as the best location in the world to whales. Each year, attracting around 40 to 70 animals from the sub-Antarctic waters to the Bay to calve. There are Whales, including between June and December, the best months are September and October.
The Garden route
The region between the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains, stretching from Mossel Bay beyond the Storms River. The coast is in no way violent and can be toggled off, but with beautiful rocks, wooded slopes and fine sand beaches.
KwaZulu Natal
Natal is the smallest and most populated province of South Africa and to the West, bounded by the Drakensberg. Here you can find summits of over 3,000 m, by the Zulus uKhahlamba district municipality (barrier of javelins). The original inhabitants were the bushman (San), this peaceful hunters-gatherers 1000 years ago were gradually expelled by Zulu's, Xhosa, Afrikaner and British. Durban is the main attraction for tourists with it's beaches and UShaka world marine park.
Mpumalanga/Eastern Transvaal (The Panorama route)
Transvaal through The Long Tom-Pass to Sabie, the small town of Lydenburg, you will find several waterfalls, Pilgrim's Rest, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes in the Blyde River and the Nature Reserve, a botanical paradise, with many rare plants and an abundance of wild animals. The vegetation is particularly interesting: wild orchids and lilies and aloes.
The Kruger park
The Kruger National Park 19,000 square km is great. This is the largest and the oldest African Hluhluwe after Park with 138 species of mammals, 500 species of birds and over 100 species of reptiles. The most prominent place to the Big five personality traits to play around!
In this expanses and world-famous National park, in the North-East of South Africa, there is a wide variety of wildlife. The southern section is the most wild. In the Park, many roads, both of asphalt as a metalled sand paths. There is a speed limit and it is forbidden to leave the car, but in addition there is place that allows stepping out your vehicle. It is clearly marked, and you can find your own way with a "route map". Nearly all the rest camps have a restaurant. The Kruger park has opened their borders with gonarezhou National Park. Johannesburg, Pretoria, Gauteng
Pretoria Today, the city of Tshwane metropolitan municipality (Jacaranda City) is the political capital of South Africa and was the birthplace of Paul Kruger, the first President of the Transvaal. All his houses are now museums.
In the city of Pretoria (Tshwane) provides several attractions such as the Old Gathering hall, the Cultural Museum, the City Hall, the Union buildings (Government), and the Pretoria Art Museum.
